\u201cFacts of Life\u201d alum Mindy Cohn revealed she has been secretly battling cancer for a second time.<\/p>\n
\u201cHave been off social media for awhile \u2018cuz i [sic] had to go kick cancer\u2019s ass,\u201d the actress, 59, wrote via Instagram <\/a>Sunday, alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed.<\/p>\n \u201cI did so with the extraordinary help of Providence Saint John\u2019s hospital staff,\u201d she added, referring to the Santa Monica, California-based clinic. <\/p>\n \u201cFacts of Life\u201d alum Mindy Cohn (seen here) shared she was privately battling cancer. mindycohn\/instagram<\/p>\n The actress took to Instagram Sunday to share she was hospitalized. mindycohn\/instagram<\/p>\n Cohn also gave a special shoutout to nurses and the oncology department. <\/p>\n \u201cRecouping for another couple of weeks and then ready for my next adventure,\u201d she added. \u201cOnwards! Getty Images<\/p>\n Cohn was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012.<\/p>\n \u201cI was walking around my neighborhood in Los Angeles and I suddenly got so tired,\u201d she told People<\/a> in 2017.<\/p>\n \u201cI just couldn\u2019t go anymore. And then I\u2019d wait for another shoe to drop, and it would. I was frustrated and enraged. I couldn\u2019t control any of this. I couldn\u2019t fix it.\u201d<\/p>\n Cohn told People she was cancer-free in 2017.
