Following a five-week voting period, STHS Edinburg finished in second place in the special contest organized by Soliant, a national healthcare staffing firm<\/p>\n
Described as a \u201ca bright fa\u00e7ade punctuating the sky above Edinburg,\u201d South Texas Health System Edinburg officially appears on Soliant\u2019s Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. (2025).<\/p>\n
STHS Edinburg, which opened its new five-story, $105 million patient tower three years ago to meet the rising healthcare needs of the Rio Grande Valley, finished in second place with 1,009,985 votes following a five-week voting period in the contest organized by the national healthcare staffing firm.<\/p>\n
One of only two facilities earning more than one million votes, less than 60,000 votes separated STHS Edinburg from No. 1 finisher Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma. Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, was a distant third with 108,151 votes.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the first time STHS Edinburg has appeared on the list of the top 20 most beautiful hospitals across the country in the contest\u2019s 13-year history.<\/p>\n
Since its launch in 2009, the \u201cMost Beautiful Hospitals\u201d contest continues to shine a light on the role that physical space, intentional design, and human connection play in the healing process. In all, more than 200 outstanding hospitals have been recognized by Soliant since the contest\u2019s inception.<\/p>\n
This year, the company donated $5,000 to the foundation of the top vote-getting hospital.<\/p>\n
