Paul posted a carousel of mirror selfies \u2014 one lifting up her shirt to show her stomach and another where her hair appears to be matted. <\/p>\n

The \u201cSecret Lives of Mormon Wives\u201d star shared several vulnerable photos of herself on Instagram Sunday, as seen above. Instagram\/taylorfrankiepaul<\/p>\n

\u201cThis public atrocity that I not only lived through once but twice now, on even a bigger scale was ultimately the cost to my freedom. I wouldn\u2019t wish this upon my worst enemy or even the ones who publicized it,\u201d the caption continued. <\/p>\n

The reality star acknowledged that she still has \u201ca road ahead\u201d but said she is \u201cforever freed from a certain living hell,\u201d seemingly referring to her former relationship with Mortensen.<\/p>\n

\u201cMetaphorically someone witnessed me bleeding out and poured salt all over me \u2026 somehow I\u2019m still here..\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul, 31, went on to thank everyone who supported her \u201ceven without full context\u201d of her and Mortensen\u2019s situation.<\/p>\n

Paul wrote that she is \u201cforever freed from a certain living hell,\u201d seemingly referring to her former relationship with Mortensen, seen above after their February domestic violence incident. Draper Police Department<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026After waiting 7 weeks on the 7th day EXACTLY I received the call all charges dropped,\u201d she noted. \u201cWe\u2019re working on eating, movement, rest, and retraining the nervous system. I\u2019ll be sharing the process, because if my worst is shared better bet I\u2019ll share the rebuilding too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her emotional post comes days after Utah police concluded their investigations into\u00a0several domestic violence incidents<\/a>\u00a0tied to her and Mortensen.<\/p>\n

On April 14, Salt Lake County District Attorney\u2019s office declined to file new charges for Paul due to an \u201cevidentiary issue\u201d in the investigations led by the Draper Police and West Jordan Police Departments, according to a press release.<\/p>\n

In regards to the West Jordan investigations, the DA\u2019s office claimed \u201cthe complainant in these cases reported several incidents \u2013 some of which occurred more than three years ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, minor offenses that allegedly happened longer than two years ago are \u201cbarred by the statute of limitations.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continues, specifically noting that the allegations against Paul \u201cdo not rise to the level of criminal offenses.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe remaining incidents lack sufficient evidence to support filing criminal charges where the State must be able to prove such allegations beyond a reasonable date. Such incidents lack specificity as to when and what actually occurred or corroboration,\u201d the message read.<\/p>\n

Last month, a disturbing video was leaked of Paul attacking Mortensen with metal chairs in a 2023 domestic violence dispute (Paul is pictured here talking to police following the incident). Herriman City Police Department<\/p>\n

Paul made headlines last month after \u201cSLOMW\u201d paused filming on Season 5<\/a> because she was being investigated for alleged domestic violence against Mortensen.<\/p>\n

Days later, her season of \u201cThe Bachelorette\u201d was pulled by ABC after a disturbing video was leaked <\/a>showing a domestic violence incident between her and her ex. <\/p>\n

In the footage from 2023, she attacks Mortensen with chairs in front of her now 8-year-old daughter, Indy.<\/p>\n

It was later revealed on March 25 that Paul was under a\u00a0third domestic violence investigation<\/a>\u00a0being led by the West Jordan Police Department in addition to the two investigations being pursued by Draper Police in Utah.<\/p>\n

Paul remains embroiled in a\u00a0heated custody battle with Mortensen (seen above during the 2023 incident) after he petitioned the courts for\u00a0an order of protection\u00a0against her. Herriman City Police Department<\/p>\n

Even though the most recent charges against Paul were dropped, she remains embroiled in a\u00a0heated custody battle with Mortensen<\/a>, 33, after he petitioned the courts for\u00a0an order of protection<\/a>\u00a0against her.<\/p>\n

Mortensen was granted temporary custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever.<\/p>\n

Paul is currently allowed\u00a0\u201csupervised\u201d visitation<\/a>\u00a0with the toddler due to concerns regarding her \u201cvolatile\u201d behavior.<\/p>\n
