The contract is valued at approximately SEK 202 million (around EUR 18 million).<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"516\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/boskalis-1-768x516.jpg\" class=\"attachment-medium_large size-medium_large\" alt=\"\" loading=\"eager\"  \/>photo courtesy of Port of Gothenburg<\/p>\n<p>The works form part of the port\u2019s contribution to the wider Skandia Gateway project, which will deepen the fairway into the Port of Gothenburg from today\u2019s vessel draught of 13.5m to a maximum 17.5m.<\/p>\n<p>Boskalis was selected following a tender process involving five interested contractors.<\/p>\n<p>Since spring 2024, the Port of Gothenburg has carried out extensive quay reinforcement works at the port\u2019s container terminal.
