The A’s could add and subtract at the deadline. Severino still has good stuff but has struggled in Sacramento, where he had a 6.01 ERA last season compared with a 3.02 on the road. He allowed two home runs in his first start there this year and then gave up five runs, including two more home runs, Saturday.
