\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Ed Helms<\/a> (Together Together), Pamela Adlon<\/a> (Better Things), and Christine Ko<\/a> (Dave) have wrapped roles in Circles<\/a>, a relationship drama with a high-concept twist, directed by Ariel Heller<\/a> from a script written with Sam Baron.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the indie, shot between Idaho and Los Angeles, Baron and Alli Brown (Succession, Sistas) star as a couple in crisis who retreat to a remote cabin to repair their marriage, only to find themselves trapped in a mysterious time loop that resets every time they lie. The only way out is 24 hours of total honesty, no matter what truths are uncovered.<\/p>\n

\n\tNo word yet on the roles to be played by the newcomers. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement to Deadline on his involvement, Helms said, \u201cCircles hooked me with its deceptively simple concept and the way it challenges how couples communicate. Ariel and Sam have created something intimate, unsettling and darkly funny in the best way. It\u2019s the kind of story that really lingers with you, and I couldn\u2019t be more thrilled to be on board.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPic is produced by Good Point, in association with Helms\u2019 Pacific Electric Picture Company. Kyle Smithers, David Breschel, and Caleb Heller produced alongside Ariel Heller, Baron and Brown. Stars Helms and Adlon also exec produced alongside Mike Falbo, Eric Pearson, Alexandra Canosa, Alice Seabright, and Sarah Steinberg Heller.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project marks producer Breschel\u2019s follow-up to The Singers, the Netflix film that tied this year for the Best Live-Action Short Oscar.<\/p>\n

\n\tMost recently seen in projects like Family Switch and Rutherford Falls, Helms\u2019 upcoming slate includes the films Babies, An Ode to Mary Joe, The Stunt Driver, Smudge the Blades, and She Gets It from Me. He is repped by UTA and Schreck Rose Dapello.<\/p>\n

\n\tAn Emmy winner best known for creating and starring in the lauded FX series Better Things, Adlon has most recently been seen on shows like Shifting Gears and Mid-Century Modern, with voice work in projects like King of the Hill.<\/p>\n

\n\tBest known for starring alongside Lil Dicky in the FX comedy Dave, Ko appears in the comedic thriller Drag, coming off its SXSW premiere, and has also recently been seen on the shows Ghosts and Loot. Upcoming, she\u2019ll be seen in the films Rolling Loud, The Knocking, and Better Life.
