Rumors are rife that Bryson DeChambeau could be seeking an exit from LIV Golf imminently.<\/p>\n

DeChambeau is LIV Golf\u2019s biggest star but it\u2019s no surprise that he is slightly disillusioned right now.<\/p>\n

Claims emerged last week that LIV Golf could be set to close down imminently, with Saudi Arabia\u2019s Public Investment Fund considering pulling funding from the project.<\/p>\n

LIV Golf<\/a> started up in June 2022, but it\u2019s fair to say that, as things stand, they haven\u2019t made the progress they would have liked.<\/p>\n

There have been sprinklings of success, with DeChambeau<\/a> winning the U.S. Open in 2024 and former LIV golfer Brooks Koepka\u2019s triumph at the PGA Championship in 2023.<\/p>\n

However, the vast majority of LIV players have flattered to deceive in the major championships over the past four years.<\/p>\n

Now things could be set to get even worse for LIV, with DeChambeau having apparently sounded out PGA Tour officials<\/a> about a potential return.<\/p>\n

With LIV Golf\u2019s future clearly up in the air right now, DeChambeau is obviously keen to line up contingency plans.<\/p>\n

Or is he? Not according to two of his fellow LIV golfers, it seems.<\/p>\n

English duo Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood<\/a> have taken to their respective social media channels in response to the rumors about DeChambeau\u2019s future with LIV Golf.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s simply staggering the amount of b\u2013\u2013\u2013\u2013\u2013\u2013t that pours out daily. Such a shame and disappointing. I guess it will make for a good book one day,\u201c Poulter fumed.<\/p>\n

While Westwood said: \u201cMust be Monday. New week, new b\u2013\u2013\u2013\u2013\u2013\u2013t.\u201c<\/p>\n

The Englishmen clearly haven\u2019t taken kindly to the DeChambeau rumors.<\/p>\n

However, I think they are missing the point.<\/p>\n

Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter are missing the point<\/p>\n

Why wouldn\u2019t DeChambeau want to open dialogue with the PGA Tour, with LIV Golf facing such an uncertain future?<\/p>\n

It would be silly for him not to, in my opinion.<\/p>\n

Brooks Koepka paved the way for big-name LIV players to jump ship in January and Patrick Reed soon followed him.<\/p>\n

Now DeChambeau could be the next superstar to come running back to the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n
