\u201cPractical Magic\u201d star Aidan Quinn said he wasn\u2019t asked to be part of the sequel.<\/p>\n
Quinn, 67, played detective Gary Hallet in the 1998 film, who was the love interest of Sandra Bullock\u2019s character, Sally Owens.<\/p>\n
Both Bullock and Nicole Kidman \u2014 who played Gillian Owens \u2014 returned for \u201cPractical Magic 2,\u201d and are seen in the trailer that dropped Monday. But Quinn was noticeably absent, despite Gary and Sally ending up together in the original film.<\/p>\n
