Instagram user @benbabusis shared an absolutely insane video on Sunday (via his stepmother) of a hiker coming face-to-face with a massive bear that didn’t seem happy to be bothered.<\/p>\n

AS BLACK BEAR ENCOUNTERS INCREASE IN AMERICA, AVOID SERIOUS DANGER BY BEING ‘BEAR AWARE’<\/a><\/p>\n

The incident occurred on the Mount Wilson Trail<\/a> in Los Angeles, according to the video’s caption, and fortunately nobody was hurt by the bear.<\/p>\n

Of all the things that might make you need to quickly change your underwear, a bear of that size charging you is definitely near the top guaranteed ways to make that happen.<\/p>\n

Not sure ringing bells is going to do much to stop a person from getting mauled. A firearm<\/a> would probably be a better deterrent, but different strokes for different folks.<\/p>\n
