Caitlin Clark gave reporters insight into her 2025 WNBA season after being relegated to just 13 games last year.<\/p>\n
After a historic 2024 campaign, the WNBA<\/a> Rookie of the Year was hampered by a plethora of injuries in her sophomore campaign, severely hampering the Indiana Fever’s ceiling in 2025. Since then, Clark<\/a> has been working to get back into game shape after essentially missing the entire previous year.<\/p>\n Now, the superstar guard has given the media a look into how she dealt with an injury-plagued season that left her on the bench instead of being on the court. Her revelation came days after the Fever fortified its roster with four free agency deals meant to give Indiana more leeway in case of injury.<\/a><\/p>\n \u2022 Justin Rose lost $500K of his Masters prize money days after finishing tied for third<\/a><\/p>\n \u2022 Rory McIlroy loses $1.9 million of Masters prize money just days after Augusta National win<\/a><\/p>\n “Well, I think speaking of last year, like obviously I was in about no reps because I wasn’t playing,” she told reporters on Sunday during training camp as she ramped up to playing shape. “So, you know, it’s hard. It’s very isolating to come to practice every single day and spend two hours getting treatment and rehab.”<\/p>\n She also explained that, despite being “isolated” from her teammates as she attempted to get healthy, Clark still tried to be the “best teammate” she could be. In doing so, the superstar admitted that the moments alone allowed her to reflect on her situation.<\/p>\n “And, I got to be their biggest fan,” the 24-year-old reflected. “And I think that was a great experience for me because through a lot of my career, everybody else was my biggest fan. And, you know, when you’re not doing that, you have to find another way to impact the team.<\/p>\n “So, I think I was able to do that and kind of help us and be as involved as I can. And I traveled to every single game but one just because of some rehab things that I was trying to get done to hopefully come back.
