That was his message on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cagesideseats.com\/wwe\/434306\/wwe-raw-results-live-discussion-apr-20-2026-its-the-one-after-mania\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Raw After Mania<\/a> in the aftermath of the aforementioned defeat, that he wasn\u2019t going to tuck tail and go on vacation but rather stay ready for the next opportunity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">You never know when one might fall from the sky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Cue WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">They went back-and-forth over how they both feel a bit like losers after WrestleMania \u2014 Rhodes defeated Randy Orton to retain his title but he got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cagesideseats.com\/wwe\/435166\/wrestlemania-42-results-randy-orton-loses-cody-rhodes-championship-mcafee-leaves-wwe-punt-rko\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">obliterated<\/a> in the process, looking like he was hit by a truck \u2014 before Punk reiterated he could be looking at another title opportunity anytime. Rhodes took the not-so-subtle hint and outright told him they could do it any time he wants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Punk just smiled as he walked away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">We still don\u2019t know Rhodes\u2019 status, at least as it pertains to actually working another match. He\u2019s clearly banged up.
