Madonna had “such a thrill” making a surprise appearance during Sabrina Carpenter’s Coachella set over the weekend.
Amid the Espresso hitmaker’s second concert at the California music festival on Friday night, Sabrina welcomed the Queen of Pop to the stage.<\/p>\n
The pair duetted on Madonna’s 1990 hit Vogue, her 1989 single Like a Prayer, and on Bring Your Love – a new song she has recorded for her upcoming album, Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II.<\/p>\n
Returning to Instagram on Monday, the music superstar expressed her delight over the event.<\/p>\n
“Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella!” she captioned a slideshow of photos taken at the spectacle. “Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible To Bring Confessions II back to where it began – was such a thrill!”<\/p>\n
To conclude her heartfelt message, Madonna added, “A moment in history, I will never forget! I FEEL SO FREE.”<\/p>\n
Following her show, Sabrina also dedicated a post to the Material Girl icon.<\/p>\n
“Coachella weekend 2 might take the damn cake. Madonna… I’ve got something I wanna talk about,” the 26-year-old commented. “Thank you for coming out, bringing your love, and gracing the audience with everything you are + astrology knowledge + the greatest songs of all time. Last night was straight out of a dream. Spending so much time laughing with you and then above all sharing the stage with you is a privilege I’ll never forget (sic).”<\/p>\n
However, it wasn’t all good news from the festival.<\/p>\n
Earlier on Monday, Madonna asked fans for help with locating the purple costume she wore onstage, which she originally sported at her first appearance at Coachella in 2006.<\/p>\n
“These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history,” the 67-year-old explained. “Other archival items from the same era went missing as well. I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team. I’m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all my heart.”<\/p>\n
