Alex Cooper\u2019s husband, Matt Kaplan, has been accused of \u201cfrequently yelling\u201d at the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d host\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n
Sources close to Unwell Network \u2014 the couple\u2019s production company \u2014 claimed there is constant conflict between Kaplan and staff members, per a bombshell Bloomberg report<\/a> published Monday.<\/p>\n The co-CEO of Trending Media, who is in charge of day-to-day operations while Cooper focuses on \u201cCall Her Daddy,\u201d has allegedly \u201cearned a reputation for frequently yelling at staff members.\u201d <\/p>\n Some employees have reportedly threatened to walk out in the middle of film sets and live tours.<\/p>\n Alex Cooper\u2019s husband, Matt Kaplan (pictured above on Jan. 11), has been accused of berating the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d host\u2019s staff. Penske Media via Getty Images<\/p>\n According to Bloomberg, one witness claimed Kaplan berated the staff on Cooper\u2019s new show, \u201cUnwell Winter Games,\u201d and threatened to prevent them from working in Hollywood if they messed up, allegedly causing a seasoned crew member to burst into tears.<\/p>\n Crew members have allegedly filed formal complaints telling leadership they would quit if Kaplan didn\u2019t behave better.<\/p>\n Though most of the alleged behavior occurred behind closed doors, a production manager threatened to quit in the middle of Cooper\u2019s live tour in the 2025 documentary \u201cCall Her Alex\u201d \u2014 with Kaplan blaming the grueling work schedule.<\/p>\n However, a source told the outlet the manager\u2019s breakdown was a consequence of Kaplan yelling and swearing at staff.<\/p>\n Kaplan\u2019s alleged behavior comes after Cooper said in a Marie Claire interview in 2025<\/a> that her door is \u201calways open\u201d and she wishes to harbor a \u201cvery positive and safe\u201d environment for their young staff as a CEO.<\/p>\n Kaplan (pictured above in September 2023) is a producer.
