\n\tDarrell Sheets, who appeared on 163 episodes of the popular A&E series \u201cStorage Wars<\/a>,\u201d died Wednesday in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. He was 67. Police said he died of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOn April 22, 2026, at approximately 0200 hours, officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Chandler Drive in reference to a reported deceased individual. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject who suffered from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The male was pronounced deceased on scene and the Lake Havasu City Police Department\u2019s Criminal Investigations Unit was notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation,\u201d the Lake Havasu Police Department said in a release. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe body was ultimately turned over to the Mohave County Medical Examiner\u2019s office for further investigation. The male subject has been identified as Darrell Sheets, a 67-year-old resident of Lake Havasu City and Darrell\u2019s family has been notified. This incident remains under active investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available,\u201d the release continued.<\/p>\n

\n\tSheets appeared on the long-running reality show \u201cStorage Wars\u201d from 2010 to 2023, and he also made appearances on \u201cThe Tonight Show With Jay Leno\u201d and on Raechel Ray\u2019s show. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe competition series pits teams of buyers against each other as they vie to amass the most valuable payload from the contents of storage lockers being auctioned off.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe had suffered a heart attack in 2019 and had retired to Arizona, where he was running an antique store called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.<\/p>\n
