HOUSTON \u2013 A person is dead and another was hospitalized Tuesday morning after investigators said their car flipped and caught fire near Jersey Village, causing FM 529 to be shut down. <\/p>\n
SEE ALSO: Wrong-way driver caught on video before causing two separate crashes in north Houston<\/a><\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear what led up to the crash, but Harris County<\/a> Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said it happened on FM 529 and Fairview on the northwest side, where they heard the occupants were trapped inside. <\/p>\n @HCSOTexas<\/a> deputies responded to reports of a major crash at FM-529 and Fairview, involving a vehicle that flipped, and caught fire with a person pinned inside.<\/p>\n Preliminary: units arriving on-scene were able to get the person out.
