{"id":602431,"date":"2026-04-23T22:29:16","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T22:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/602431\/"},"modified":"2026-04-23T22:29:16","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T22:29:16","slug":"seattle-storm-unveil-2026-tv-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/602431\/","title":{"rendered":"Seattle Storm unveil 2026 TV plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SEATTLE \u2014 The Seattle Storm on announced their local broadcast schedule for the 2026 season, with 35 games \u2014 including two preseason matchups \u2014 set to air across Washington on KOMO-TV (ABC), KUNS-TV (CW) and stream locally on Prime Video.<\/p>\n<p>The expanded coverage will allow fans throughout the state to follow the Storm all season, bringing games into homes across the region through both traditional television and digital platforms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur continued partnership with KOMO-TV, alongside KUNS-TV, represents a shared commitment to growing the game and expanding access for our fans,\u201d Storm Chief Commercial Officer Nate Silverman said. \u201cFollowing a tremendous first year of the partnership, which includes the most viewed broadcast in Storm history, we\u2019re excited to build on that momentum. Beyond live game coverage, we look forward to expanding pregame and feature content that brings fans closer to our team and offers a deeper look inside Storm basketball all season long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to live game coverage, KOMO will produce 15 half-hour pregame shows throughout the season, hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/komonews.com\/station\/people\/niko-tamurian-08-21-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Sports Director Niko Tamurian <\/a>and the station\u2019s news team. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeattle Refined\u201d will also air two 30-minute specials highlighting the Storm and its community work.<\/p>\n<p>Storm players and staff are also scheduled to appear throughout the season on \u201cARC Seattle,\u201d which airs weekdays from 7 to 8 a.m. on KUNS (CW).<\/p>\n<p>KUNS (CW) will televise all non-nationally exclusive Storm games, with distribution available via cable, satellite, and over-the-air television. <\/p>\n<p>Select games will air on KOMO (ABC).
