In perhaps one of the most peculiar developments on the air in recent weeks, Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> and Sara Haines<\/a> slapped each other a collective total of six times during a live interview with Justin Theroux<\/a> and Kate Hudson<\/a> on Thursday’s The View<\/a>.<\/p>\n In a wide shot of the Hot Topics table midway through the interview with the Running Point actors, Haines playfully hit the EGOT-winning Ghost actress on the arm, seemingly nodding to a similar feeling about her colleague during Theroux’s observation about working with an “icon” like Meryl Streep<\/a> in The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/a>, whom he said is “just like every other actor” in person.<\/p>\n Goldberg then exclaimed, “Ow!” and returned the slap on Haines’ arm.
