We have made it to the first preseason game of the season for the Washington Mystics. After a busy draft day, just a few weeks ago, the Mystics look to become a force with one of the youngest rosters in the league. With only one player with five years or more of playing experience, and 12 rookies (including Georgia Amoore) on the training camp roster, this preseason will be formative to see who the organization is looking to build around.<\/p>\n
For the Lynx, much of this season will be about their team staying afloat until their superstar, Napheesa Collier returns from surgery on her ankle. That is expected to happen sometime during the summer. As for Saturday\u2019s matchup, this game will be the first look at the Lynx heralded 1st round pick, Olivia Miles.<\/p>\n
There will be a lot of young stars on the court looking to stick with their teams and find a role on their respective teams.
