On April 18, LeBron James<\/a> and Bronny James<\/a> became the first father-son duo to team up and share the court in the postseason. Now? They’re putting on a show.<\/p>\n During the second quarter of Game 3 between the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> and the hostHouston Rockets<\/a> on Friday, Deandre Ayton<\/a> forced Reed Sheppard<\/a> to miss a contested layup, with the rebound landing in LeBron’s hands.<\/p>\n The elder James pushed the ball in transition while Bronny filled the right lane and sprinted down court.<\/p>\n LeBron eyed his son cutting to the rim and lobbed the ball with Bronny taking off and catching it and finishing the alley-oop with a smooth reverse left-handed layup.<\/p>\n After the sequence, Bronny pointed to his dad in appreciation.<\/p>\n The alley-oop put the Lakers up 52-40 with 7:13 remaining in the second quarter.<\/p>\n LeBron finished the first half with 16 points and four assists, while Bronny had five points.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2026 ESPN Internet Ventures.
