\n\tElla Langley<\/a> made her Stagecoach debut on Friday evening, appearing at golden hour in front of thousands gathered to see the breakthrough star\u2019s set. While many in the crowd expected Morgan Wallen to join her as a special guest onstage to sing their recently released track, \u201cI Can\u2019t Love You Anymore,<\/a>\u201d Langley surprised everyone when she brought out comedian Theo Von instead.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter performing \u201cBottom of Your Boots\u201d and \u201cBroken\u201d off her new album Dandelion<\/a>, and fan favorite \u201c20-20\u201d from the deluxe reissue Still Hungover, Langley decided it was \u201cstory time.\u201d The singer began the intro of \u201cYou Look Like You Love Me,\u201d recounting a lonely night out on the road when she met a cowboy. Soon, Von, wearing a denim shirt, jeans and straw cowboy hat, walked on stage to step in for Riley Green\u2019s verse. Pointing to Langley he declared, \u201cAnd that\u2019s when I realized that she was every cowboy\u2019s dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe duo launched into the chorus, with Theo holding his own and clearly having the time of his life on stage as he jumped in the air and at one point dropped his hat. Fans cheered as the pair circled each other, and in a standout moment, the massive crowd joined them to sing, \u201cYou look like you love me\/You look like you want me to want you to come on home.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs Von walked off stage, Langley playfully commented, \u201cBet you didn\u2019t expect that\u2026 Keep \u2019em guessin\u2019!\u201d Von\u2019s guest appearance at the fest arrives after Langley recently stopped by his popular podcast and the two discussed her new record, journey in the music industry, and the stranger parts of fame.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer-songwriter ended her set with her chart-topping single \u201cChoosin Texas\u201d and \u201cWeren\u2019t for the Wind.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLangley\u2019s road to Stagecoach has been a long time coming. The singer-songwriter moved to Nashville in 2019 and broke through five years later with her massive hit \u201cYou Look Like You Love Me,\u201d which won Song of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards. \u00a0Ear\u00adlier this year, the she made history when \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d reached Number One on\u00a0Billboard\u2019s Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts at the same time. Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, and Shaboozey are the only other artists to ever achieve the feat; Langley is the first woman. To date, \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d has spent seven nonconsecutive weeks atop the Hot 100.<\/p>\n

\n\tLangley is up for seven awards at this year\u2019s Academy of Country Music Awards<\/a> next month, scoring Single of the Year and Song of the Year nominations for \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas.\u201d (Women dominated at the 61st AMAs, with Megan Moroney, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, and Langley each scoring more nominations than any male artist.) In the Song category, \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d will face off with Lambert and Chris Stapleton\u2019s \u201cA Song to Sing,\u201d Moroney\u2019s \u201cAm I Okay?\u201d, Zach Top\u2019s \u201cI Never Lie,\u201d and Wilson\u2019s \u201cSomewhere Over Laredo.\u201d<\/p>\n
