Freddie Woodman 8

Clutched one low dribbler from Johnson early on before save from Mateta sparked second and good stop to deny Lacroix.

Curtis Jones 7

Tougher ask defensively but stuck to it and signs of link-up with Salah, and good assist for second. Escaped blunder before interval, though.

Ibrahima Konate 6

Settled after slightly wayward opening, although some of his passing caused nerves to jangle.

Virgil van Dijk 7

Refused to stand on ceremony with some of his defending and looked to cajole Liverpool out from the back.

Andy Robertson 7

Kept on his toes by the Palace attack but able to get forward on occasion and popped up to take second superbly.

Dominik Szoboszlai 6

Solid rather than spectacular in the midfield battle that Liverpool began to edge before the break.

Alexis Mac Allister 6

Took a while to get up to speed but began to find his passes and mishit shot invited the opener.

Mohamed Salah 7

Enjoyed his tussles with Mitchell and Canvot down the Liverpool right and strong run prompted the opener.

Florian Wirtz 7

Good pressing on occasion and used the ball well when in possession and swift good pass was integral to second.

Cody Gakpo 6

Plenty of endeavour first half in both directions but nullified by the Palace defence.

Alexander Isak 6

Most notable contribution was a defensive header until reacted quickly to improvise finish for opener.

Freddie Woodman 8 Clutched one low dribbler from Johnson early on before save from Mateta sparked second and…

[69
109733,41819,199002,1711,403,99
post-605891","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-soccer","tag-barclays-premier-league","tag-crystal-palace-fc","tag-football-blog","tag-liverpool-fc","tag-soccer","tag-sports
["GET
