You\u2019ve been hard at work collecting vital resources, culling back ARC, and scouting all manner of strange Topside weather conditions. You’ve done your part, and earnt some goods along the way!<\/p>\n
As Season 3 comes to a close on April 28, a variety of colors and toggles for the Torque Set will be unlocked for you based on your final placement:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Race around the Rust Belt in your new stylish threads and show the ARC the power of adrenaline! (Don\u2019t forget to make a pit stop and grab Scrappy some olives!)<\/p>\n
CHANGES TO THE TRIALS<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve switched some things up this season, focusing on giving all Raiders a fair chance to get stuck in and grind a variety of fun objectives.<\/p>\n
TRIALS S4 STARTS EARLIER<\/p>\n
Season 4 of Trials kicks off on April 29, one day after Riven Tides launches.<\/p>\n
Previously Trials were unavailable during the Expedition window, but now you\u2019ll be able to start progressing your rank as you explore the forgotten shoreline.<\/p>\n
MAJOR MAP CONDITIONS NO LONGER AWARD 2X POINTS<\/p>\n
Playing on major Map Conditions will no longer award double progress, allowing players to tackle the Trials on any map they see fit.<\/p>\n
TRIALS WILL NO LONGER BE TIED TO SPECIFIC MAP CONDITIONS<\/p>\n
Trials like \u2018Disarm Mines\u2019 or \u2018Get Hit By Lightning\u2019 that were tied to a specific Map Condition locked some players out of a fair shot at participating. Everyone is equal in the Rust Belt, going forward the Season 4 Trial challenges will not require a specified Map Condition to earn progress in.<\/p>\n
NEW TRIALS CHALLENGES<\/p>\n
We hear you – Trials challenges need more variation, and Season 4 intends to deliver.<\/p>\n
Without revealing our hand early, expect to see some exciting new objectives throughout the upcoming season, like melee combat challenges, using specific gadgets\/grenades to score points, and searching\u2026 unique containers.<\/p>\n
TRIALS GOING FORWARD<\/p>\n
We’ve received a lot of feedback on Trials and seen frustration with parts of the system – from unfair advantages due to squad size to lacking competitive integrity of the leaderboards.<\/p>\n
We’re reviewing how we can improve and evolve Trials long term to consistently deliver the aspirational competitive fantasy that you\u2019re hungry for.<\/p>\n
In Season 4 we\u2019re taking the first steps to allow all players to participate without any time scheduling constraints, and we\u2019ll continue to listen to your comments as the season progresses.<\/p>\n

TRIALS SEASON 4 REWARD<\/p>\n
The mysterious resort that awaits in Riven Tides needs scouts to uncover its secrets. Participate in Trials Season 4 to earn the Recon Outfit, and explore the coastline with beach-appropriate gear.<\/p>\n

Unlock the base outfit by reaching the rank of Tryhard I, and unlock new toggles as you progress through the season. That life vest may come in handy for your seaside adventures. (Remember, no running by the pool!)<\/p>\n
Raiders who put in the work to reach the revered ranks of Hotshot and Cantina Legend will be rewarded with alternate colors for the Recon Set, showing all of Speranza that they\u2019re a cut above the rest.<\/p>\n
A new backpack color, backpack charm and attachment are also available to be claimed as you progress your badge – Intrepid Raiders who make it to Daredevil rank can celebrate in style with the new River Dance emote!<\/p>\n
