Squad Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who\u2019s under investigation for blowing campaign cash<\/a> on a shrink who specializes in ketamine therapy, spent big on the doctor last quarter, new records showed.<\/p>\n

The socialist lawmaker who reps parts of Queens and the Bronx allegedly violated election and ethics rules by\u00a0misusing nearly $19,000 in\u00a0campaign cash<\/a>\u00a0last year on Dr. Brian Boyle, according to watchdog complaints filed last month with the Federal Election Commission and Office of Congressional Conduct.<\/p>\n

New FEC quarterly filings reveal the controversial expenses continued this year, with AOC\u2019s campaign paying $4,550 to Boyle on Jan. 12.<\/p>\n

While the lawmaker continues to refuse to say why she is paying him, the Harvard-trained shrink calls himself an \u201cinterventional psychiatrist\u201d specializing in unorthodox methods for treatment-resistant depression, PTSD and anxiety.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s considered a\u00a0\u201cleading authority\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on ketamine, the controversial horse tranquilizer given to \u201cFriends\u201d star\u00a0Matthew Perry in the month leading up to his tragic death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

AOC\u2019s campaign filings describe the money as being for \u201cleadership training and consulting,\u201d but that is not an area of Dr. Boyle\u2019s practice or expertise.<\/p>\n

The ethics watchdog behind last month\u2019s complaint told The Post it filed a supplemental one Friday in light of the new expenses.<\/p>\n

\u201cAOC needs to come clean and explain to her contributors and the FEC why she spent almost $24,000 of campaign funds on a Boston\u00a0psychiatrist who specializes in ketamine therapy and has no expertise in political campaigns,\u201d said Paul Kamenar, counsel to the National Legal and Policy Center.<\/p>\n

AOC collected $4.1 million in contributions last quarter, bringing her campaign war chest to $28.9 million for the 2026 election cycle \u2014 by far the most in the House of Representatives.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the \u201cBronx girl\u201d also kept spending big on her glam squad last quarter, with three expenses for event hair and makeup services totaling $1,838 \u2014 two of which were made to posh The Only Agency, whose other clients include Bad Bunny and Bella Hadid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Squad Rep.
