Marcus Rashford\u2019s future at Barcelona is up in the air, but the Manchester United loanee is handling the rumours in the best way possible.<\/p>\n

According to reports, Barcelona\u2019s interest in Rashford has cooled<\/a> when it comes to completing a permanent deal for the Manchester United forward.<\/p>\n

There is a \u00a326 million buy clause for Rashford<\/a> available to Barcelona, but director Deco and manager Hansi Flick agree that Rashford may cost too much in the summer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As a result, Rashford could return to United<\/a> at the end of the season. It is a transfer saga that has rumbled on throughout the season and picked up pace in recent weeks, but Marcus Rashford<\/a> is doing his talking on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Barcelona could be bluffing United<\/a> to try and get favourable terms for a Rashford deal. Alternatively, they may turn away from a permanent deal completely.<\/p>\n

It is hard to guess where Rashford will end up next season, but what United will be impressed by is the 28-year-old\u2019s performances on the pitch.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Rashford scored off the bench in Barcelona\u2019s 2-0 win over Getafe in La Liga, putting them on the brink of defending their league title.<\/p>\n

It was Rashford\u2019s 13th goal of the season and his third in his last four league games. Rather than letting his game be impacted by the transfer rumours, he seems to be using it as fuel to improve. <\/p>\n

However, if a move falls through and Rashford does return to Old Trafford, the Red Devils have a choice to either reintegrate an in-form left winger or to sell Rashford on to another European side.<\/p>\n

Rashford\u2019s value is higher than the \u00a326m fee agreed with Barcelona anyway, so a return to Manchester could end up adding millions to his next transfer fee.<\/p>\n
