It was officially announced<\/a> roughly 18 months ago now, and here \u2013 out of nowhere! \u2013 is your very first look at the new Alien: Isolation<\/a> game.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s honestly not a lot to see at all here: the trailer is 25 seconds long, features flashing lights, a sliding panel door, and an emergency phone booth. But honestly, we\u2019ll just take the welcome reminder this game is still in development.<\/p>\n

Back in October 2024, UK dev Creative Assembly said it was \u201cin early development<\/a>\u201d on a sequel to the cult classic PS4 survival horror.<\/p>\n

The original Alien: Isolation first launched in 2014 and is widely regarded among the pinnacle of the genre due to its highly intelligent AI and tense sci-fi atmosphere.<\/p>\n

This new trailer is named \u2018False Sense of Security\u2019 and has the description: \u201cA feeling of being safer than one really is.\u201d There\u2019s no other information at all.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s worth noting that today is 26th April, so the trailer has likely been released to recognise LV-426, the name of the moon Acheron mentioned in various Alien-related media.<\/p>\n

Hopefully this is the beginning of the game\u2019s hype cycle, as we\u2019re already itching to see more.<\/p>\n
