Shirley MacLaine<\/a> enjoyed a sunny lunch outing ahead of turning 92 years old.<\/p>\n

The iconic actress was photographed exiting a restaurant in Malibu, California, on April 18, holding on to a companion\u2019s arm. She wore a long brown cardigan over a brown top and pants, sporting black glasses.<\/p>\n

Just a few days later, she celebrated her 92nd birthday on April 24.<\/p>\n

MacLaine is clearly a fan of Malibu lunch outings. <\/p>\n

Late last month, she was snapped smiling with a plate of oysters and a beer <\/a>in Malibu. The \u201cSteel Magnolias\u201d star, wearing a mint green hoodie and black glasses, grinned at the camera while holding up her fork.<\/p>\n

MacLaine was also\u00a0spotted at celeb hotspot Nobu in Malibu\u00a0<\/a>back in January, linking arms with a male companion during the daytime outing.<\/p>\n

She turned 92 years old just a few days later on April 24. BACKGRID<\/p>\n

MacLaine has credited her longevity to her long dance history.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started my dance training at age 3 and stopped at about 67,\u201d she said in\u00a0an interview with People<\/a>\u00a0in April 2024. \u201cIt taught me discipline, loving music, working with people and dealing with pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother took me to dancing class when I was three because I had weak ankles and I fell in love with it,\u201d she shared during her speech. \u201cBut here\u2019s what it also included: discipline, love of music, a sense of cooperation with other people, being on time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd from that day on, I went to class every day until in my sixties,\u201d she continued. \u201cI would have to say that dance, what I\u2019ve learned being part of it is why I\u2019m still here.\u201d<\/p>\n
