The hotly anticipated \u201cEuphoria\u201d wedding between Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) has a bloody ending \u2013 Nate is brutally beaten and maimed on his wedding night, and gets his toe cut off.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s a cutting of a particular body part that my character takes great pleasure in doing,\u201d Jack Topalian exclusively told Page Six, adding that they used a \u201cprosthetic\u201d toe for Elordi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe clippers that they gave me have pretty sharp edges. So I had to be really mindful of that, because at one point, I do put it around Jake\u2019s toe.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actor had to be careful in the way that he \u201csqueezed\u201d Elordi\u2019s toe with the clippers.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I squeezed a little too hard, it would literally cut his toe. But, everything turned out well! There were no mishaps, no accidents,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
Topalian plays Naz, a shady businessman who is a new Season 3 character. Nate is in debt to him for over half a million dollars, and keeps stalling on paying. Nate is shown having a panic attack before marrying Cassie, as he ignores Naz\u2019s phone calls.<\/p>\n

After Nate and Cassie tie the knot, Naz crashes Nate\u2019s wedding reception and informs him that he will be his \u201cworst nightmare.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Then, on Nate\u2019s wedding night, as he carries his new bride over the threshold, Naz follows through on that promise.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He\u2019s waiting in their mansion, and sics a henchman on Nate to brutalize him as a horrified Cassie cries. Naz then proceeds to cut off Nate\u2019s toe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Naz\u2019s henchman was played by former NFL player and Super Bowl champ Matt Willig.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat a gem of a person he is,\u201d Topalian, who was also in \u201cThe Blacklist\u201d and \u201cBosch,\u201d said.\u00a0\u201cHe\u2019s an amazing actor as well. So, he ends up doing all the dirty work\u2026 [My character is] the kind of guy where I\u2019m not going to get my hands dirty \u2013 but, I\u2019m going to get my money, one way or another.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Filming that sequence lasted for \u201ca few days\u201d as Naz\u2019s henchman throws Nate around, smashing his face into walls, beating him up,\u00a0and dragging him up and down his grand staircase.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of physicality involved with Jacob and Matthew. Jacob did a lot of his own stunts,\u201d Topalian told us. \u201cThat\u2019s [Elordi] really doing the struggling and the fighting and the falling and all of that.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Even though it\u2019s a brutal sequence, the atmosphere was light behind the scenes.<\/p>\n
He called Elordi \u201ccommitted,\u201d \u201cgiving,\u201d and \u201cprepared,\u201d but \u201cbetween scenes, he\u2019s back to being Jacob.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cObviously, he gets back into character really quickly,\u201d he went on. \u201cBut once [the director calls \u2018cut\u2019] even though he\u2019s been beaten and abused, he\u2019s still having a lot of fun. He\u2019s still cracking jokes and doing things like that.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Topalian said he brought his daughter Elizabeth to the set, who is a \u201cEuphoria\u201d fan. Elordi and Sweeney were both very \u201cwarm\u201d and \u201cgracious and welcoming\u201d to her.\u00a0<\/p>\n
