A Boies Schiller Flexner team secured a trial win in the
\ncase Parker et al. v. Souki in the U.S. District Court for
\nthe District of Colorado.<\/p>\n

The firm represents Christopher Parker and Red Mango Enterprises
\nLtd., who, beginning in 2017, invested in Tellurian, Inc., a
\nliquified natural gas company founded by defendant Charif Souki.
\nAfter the share price of Tellurian dropped sharply in the following
\nyears, Souki promised in a series of text messages to indemnify
\nplaintiffs for any losses if they retained their shares, which
\nplaintiffs did. Souki later reneged on this agreement, and
\nplaintiffs filed suit bringing claims for breach of contract,
\nfraudulent inducement, promissory estoppel, and unjust
\nenrichment.<\/p>\n

After a five-day trial, jurors unanimously found Tellurian
\nfounder Charif Souki breached the 2019 agreement he made with our
\nclients and awarded $39 million in damages\u2014the full amount of
\nthe indemnity.<\/p>\n
