{"id":610962,"date":"2026-04-28T09:18:20","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T09:18:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/610962\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T09:18:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T09:18:20","slug":"indian-engineering-exports-to-us-hit-record-high","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/610962\/","title":{"rendered":"Indian Engineering Exports To US Hit Record High"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI-India\u2019s engineering exports to the United States rose 2.3 per cent year-on-year to $19.60 billion in FY26, retaining the U.S. as the sector\u2019s top export destination despite higher tariffs, according to industry data released on April 23.<\/p>\n<p>Data compiled by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India showed overall engineering exports touched a record $122.43 billion in FY26, up nearly 5 per cent from $116.75 billion in the previous fiscal.<\/p>\n<p>However, shipments to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region declined sharply amid geopolitical disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>On a regional basis, engineering exports to North America rose 1.9 per cent, while shipments to the European Union increased 8.6 per cent during the fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>According to government estimates, engineering goods remained the largest component of India\u2019s merchandise exports in FY26, accounting for 27.71 per cent of the total.
