Barry Keoghan has finally broken his silence on rumors that he cheated on Sabrina Carpenter.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel in a safe space to say this \u2026 but I have been avoiding stuff,\u201d the Irish actor admitted during Tuesday\u2019s \u201cFriends Keep Secrets\u201d podcast<\/a> with Benny Blanco,\u00a0Lil Dicky and\u00a0Kristin Batalucco, while talking about his split from the pop star.<\/p>\n \u201cI have been like, you know, I came off Instagram \u2026 and social profiles. I\u2019ve stopped going to events. YouTube\/@friendskeepsecrets<\/p>\n The \u201cSaltburn\u201d star (seen above on a podcast) said he stepped away from the public and social media because of \u201ca narrative\u201d that was \u201cnot true.\u201d YouTube\/@friendskeepsecrets<\/p>\n \u201cI never confirmed or said anything about it. \u2026 I just disappeared,\u201d the \u201cSaltburn\u201d star explained.<\/p>\n When Dicky (born David Burd) asked if infidelity was the \u201cnarrative\u201d the actor was speaking about, he confirmed that those were indeed the rumors he was referencing.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want to ever bring anyone else into it, but like, you know, unfortunately, having a relationship in the public eye, it\u2019s \u2014 we all know this \u2014 you know, from our own stories,\u201d Keoghan shared.<\/p>\n \u201cIt gets put out there and it\u2019s like \u2026 it\u2019s amplified.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI never confirmed or said anything about it. \u2026 I just disappeared,\u201d Keoghan (seen above with Benny Blanco) explained.
