What\u2019s so great about Beast XR\/AR Glasses that they cost $549? It\u2019s that big virtual display, baby. The glasses give you a number of viewing options. If you have the display set to full size, it looks like a 174-inch display that\u2019s planted four feet in front of you. It fills your view and then some, but you can use controls on the arms of the glasses to resize the display to your liking. You can also have it float in front of you wherever you look, or you can “pin” it in place, so it’ll stay put even if you turn your head.<\/p>\n

The virtual display is powered by Sony micro-OLED panels that offer a crisp image of up to 1200p per eye, with a 120 Hz refresh rate and excellent brightness. Audio-wise, the built-in Harman speakers offer what Viture says is “deeper bass, wider soundstage, and crystal-clear highs tuned by the world’s leading audio engineers.”<\/p>\n

Out of the box, the glasses are compatible with devices running Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS, as well as portable PCs like Steam Deck and ROG Ally. They’re also compatible with Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, but you\u2019ll need the Viture Pro Mobile Dock, which is sold separately.
