I\u2019m not on any boards; I\u2019m not getting involved.<\/p>\n “I\u2019m just going to get the ball in the hole in as few shots as I can every week and go back to Scotland.”<\/p>\n MacIntyre did not name the players he was referring to, but his comments offer a rare glimpse into the personal dynamics inside the PGA Tour locker room.<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n While relationships may vary, his professional priorities are crystal clear \u2014 and they are a key reason why he rejected the opportunity to join the Saudi-backed LIV Golf League.<\/p>\n MacIntyre admits LIV has never interested him<\/p>\n MacIntyre confirmed he was approached about making the switch to LIV Golf but ultimately turned it down, insisting that his long-term ambitions could not be threatened.<\/p>\n “Didn\u2019t want to compromise my dream,” he told Golf Digest.\u00a0<\/p>\n “My dream was to play Ryder Cups. I\u2019ve done that. I\u2019ve only got one dream left, and that\u2019s winning a major. I still have a great relationship with the DP World Tour. But the more I\u2019ve sat back and thought, I understand why certain guys went.<\/p>\n “Some timed it beautifully. Some guys I still think made crazy decisions.
