{"id":613954,"date":"2026-04-29T21:11:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T21:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/613954\/"},"modified":"2026-04-29T21:11:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T21:11:08","slug":"were-brainstorming-a-couple-different-ideas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/613954\/","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;re Brainstorming A Couple Different Ideas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/gen-v\/\" id=\"auto-tag_gen-v\" data-tag=\"gen-v\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gen V<\/a> might have been canceled after two seasons on <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/prime-video\/\" id=\"auto-tag_prime-video\" data-tag=\"prime-video\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prime Video<\/a>, but a scrapped Season 3 storyline could possibly show up in the Vought Universe sometime in the future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-boys\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-boys\" data-tag=\"the-boys\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Boys<\/a> showrunner <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/eric-kripke\/\" id=\"auto-tag_eric-kripke\" data-tag=\"eric-kripke\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eric Kripke<\/a> is teasing that <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/amazon\/\" id=\"auto-tag_amazon\" data-tag=\"amazon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon<\/a> has expressed interest in developing ideas from this world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s very early days, because we\u2019re focusing on getting <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/vought-rising\/\" id=\"auto-tag_vought-rising\" data-tag=\"vought-rising\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vought Rising<\/a> out into the world, but Amazon has expressed an interest and they want to hear more potential stories in the world,\u201d Kripke told <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/gen-v-season-3-canceled-story-could-be-salvaged-future-spinoff-11960657\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHe continued, \u201cSo we\u2019re internally brainstorming a couple different ideas. We\u2019ll see which ones get traction, but they all have the opportunity to absorb at least some of the Gen V gang, and that\u2019s very much by design.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tKripke had previously opened up about a specific storyline that he was excited to explore on the scrapped Gen V Season 3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re still hopeful we can find a way to do it. So, unfortunately, I can\u2019t share it,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cThis idea that Marie is powerful, but that\u2019s not the end of her story. She has to learn how to control it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAfter news that Gen V would not be getting a third season, Kripke made it clear that it was not his decision not to move forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cI did not cancel the show. One, I don\u2019t have the power to do that,\u201d he told the publication. \u201cTwo, I was fighting to keep the show, almost more than anybody else on Earth.
