{"id":615785,"date":"2026-04-30T18:59:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T18:59:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/615785\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T18:59:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T18:59:10","slug":"credit-insecurity-and-alice-households-in-the-united-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/615785\/","title":{"rendered":"Credit Insecurity and ALICE Households in the United States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/credit-insecurity-and-ALICE-households-920x576.jpeg\" width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host a webinar to discuss its new report, \u201cCredit Insecurity and ALICE Households in the United States.\u201d The report examines access to credit for families below the<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/glossary\/federal-poverty-level-fpl\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Federal Poverty Level<\/a>, as well as households that are Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (<a href=\"https:\/\/unitedforalice.org\/meet-alice?gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=17215472393&amp;gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrI2v7rrwkwMVBXBHAR1K3iwVEAAYASAAEgKc4vD_BwE\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ALICE<\/a>), with income above the federal poverty level but below the cost of basics in the counties where they live.
