The Tigers will be joined in the regional by No. 6 Arkansas, No. 8 Iowa State, No. 19 Ole Miss, Houston, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Indiana, College of Charleston, Xavier, Western Kentucky and Murray State. Auburn has earned an NCAA regional bid for the ninth consecutive season the championship has been held and for the 31st time in program history.<\/p>\n
Auburn will enter NCAA regionals after winning five events during the regular season, tying the program record for most in a season. The Tigers started the postseason strong at the SEC Championship, finishing the stroke-play portion in fourth place and defeating No. 18 Ole Miss and No. 3 Florida to reach the championship match.<\/p>\n
The top five teams from each of the six regional sites will advance to the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. The 30 advancing teams will compete for the national title May 22-27.<\/p>\n
