However, one huge limitation is that you can\u2019t actually snooze or dismiss your phone\u2019s alarm from the car screen. Thankfully, we\u2019ve uncovered evidence showing that Google is working on a solution.<\/p>\n<p>We conducted a teardown of the Android Auto app (version 16.8.161804) and activated the ability to snooze or dismiss phone alarms directly from the car\u2019s screen. Currently, the only way to dismiss or snooze your phone\u2019s alarm in the car is to actually do so on the phone itself (or a linked smartwatch). And that\u2019s not exactly smart while driving. It was also apparently possible to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AndroidAuto\/comments\/836jge\/comment\/nsd5isz\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">snooze or stop alarms via Google Assistant<\/a>, but Gemini doesn\u2019t support this feature.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no word if or when this feature will come to Android Auto, but we really hope it lands sooner rather than later. This isn\u2019t the only work-in-progress feature we\u2019ve uncovered in recent months, either. We also managed to get an early look at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/android-auto-hvac-controls-new-ui-apk-teardown-3656944\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">climate controls in Android Auto<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u26a0\ufe0f An APK teardown helps predict features that may arrive on a service in the future based on work-in-progress code. However, it is possible that such predicted features may not make it to a public release.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for being part of our community.
