Joki\u0107 turned around, walked toward Clark and put his hands on him before Clark slipped backward and almost took Joki\u0107 with him to the floor.<\/p>\n<p>Clark immediately got up and shoved Joki\u0107 once more in the back before both teams rushed into the altercation. Timberwolves forward Naz Reid came in with a two-handed shove that nearly sent Joki\u0107 stumbling to the floor, which resulted in the Timberwolves\u2019 forward getting assessed a technical foul. Clark and Joki\u0107 were also given techs for their parts in the skirmish, but none of the three were ejected.<\/p>\n<p>Joki\u0107 was booed by the home Minnesota crowd on his next touches in the game.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NIKOLA JOKIC GOT INTO IT WITH JAYLEN CLARK \ud83d\ude33<\/p>\n<p>Naz Reid and Jaylen Clark were assessed technical fouls for Minnesota, while Jokic was assessed with one for Denver for the altercation. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6goRqtYJRE\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/6goRqtYJRE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 ESPN (@espn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/espn\/status\/2050059357774025073?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">May 1, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It marked the second time the two rivals have come into conflict during this series. At the close of a 112-96 Timberwolves Game 4 win, Minnesota forward Jaden McDaniels scored an open layup with the game secured and time expiring. Joki\u0107 took exception and rushed at McDaniels, grabbing him by the collar.<\/p>\n<p>The benches cleared and rushed into the fracas.
