{"id":617946,"date":"2026-05-01T20:40:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T20:40:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/617946\/"},"modified":"2026-05-01T20:40:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T20:40:09","slug":"prosperity-merges-in-five-firms-to-create-4-7b-ria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/617946\/","title":{"rendered":"Prosperity Merges in Five Firms to Create $4.7B RIA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Prosperity Capital Advisors, a Westlake, Ohio-based registered investment advisor, is merging five firms under its brand, boosting the company&#8217;s total assets under management to $4.7 billion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">The RIA is bringing together JL Smith Holistic Wealth Management, Alison Wealth Management, OneTeam Financial, Hammer Financial Group and FSC Wealth Advisors in a deal that adds 31 advisors and $1.8 billion in combined AUM.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">With the new firms, Prosperity will employ 152 professionals, including 98 advisors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">JL Smith was founded in 1995 by CEO Jason Smith, who also created Prosperity in 2011. <a class=\"ContentText-BodyTextChunk ContentText-BodyTextChunk_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wealthmanagement.com\/growth-strategies\/zephyr-s-adjusted-for-risk-navigating-growth-scale-and-succession-in-financial-advisory\" target=\"_self\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Stan Milovancev<\/a> serves as CEO of Prosperity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">\u201cAt Prosperity, we have been doing holistic wealth management for over 25 years. The firm is based in Red Bank and Berkeley Heights, N.J.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Greg Hammer created Hammer Financial Group in 2004, providing wealth management, income planning, legacy planning, tax preparation and Medicare planning out of Schererville, Ind.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Fishkill, N.Y.-based FSC Wealth Advisors was founded in 2010, and the firm is now led by James M.
