In a new interview with Vanity Fair<\/a>, the “Devil Wears Prada 2” star, 76, reminisced about the time she starred in the ’90s horror film, “Death Becomes Her,” alongside Goldie Hawn and explained why she had a “beef” with the iconic actress.<\/p>\n “Goldie, she was always late to set,” Streep said. “And I\u2019m always on time, you know, and annoying.”<\/p>\n MERYL STREEP RAVES ABOUT ‘DIVINE’ ROBERT REDFORD, SAYS ICONIC ‘OUT OF AFRICA’ SCENE ‘FELT SO GOOD’<\/a><\/p>\n Meryl Streep said she once had a beef with “Death Becomes Her” costar Goldie Hawn. (Getty Images)<\/p>\n “But she was so adorable,” she added. “She had a red convertible, I remember, and she\u2019d drive herself to set. So that was probably the problem. She\u2019d drive herself to set. She had her hair all\u2026 \u2018Oh gosh, sorry!\u2019 And everybody thought, \u2018Oh, she\u2019s so cute.\u2019 Yeah. And she\u2019s the best laughter in America, really. She laughs like, \u2018Hahaha!\u2019 And then they have to stop shooting.
