There are several great tracking cards<\/a> that you can add to your existing wallet. But if you\u2019re shopping for a new card holder too, the Chipolo x Secrid Trackable Miniwallet offers both, all in one.<\/p>\n

While the Chipolo and Secrid collaboration creates a new product with distinct branding, it\u2019s also a familiar one that combines (mostly) existing hardware. The Chipolo Card fits nicely into the far right Miniwallet slot. It has dual-tracking that works for either iOS or Android owners.<\/p>\n

On the wallet front, Secrid did make at least one tweak to its design for an indented circle on the back. This indicates where the button is on the card.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been using the Trackable Miniwallet as my primary wallet, and it\u2019s been great. Even though it\u2019s a little bulkier than my previous one, it still fits in my front pocket. I\u2019ve needed the Chipolo Card to find my wallet that I left in a jacket pocket. I\u2019ve even used the wallet to help me locate my phone.<\/p>\n

The Secrid Miniwallet is stylish and practical<\/p>\n

Secrid\u2019s Miniwallet is a minimal card holder that can spring cards up with a press of the bottom level. I fit six cards in the main area, but there is room for a couple more inside if you do want to stuff it full. There\u2019s even an interior flap to hold cash, if you\u2019re into that.<\/p>\n

The Secrid Miniwallet is thicker than the Bellroy Card Sleeve I was using, but it still fits in my front pocket without issue. Initially, I was concerned the leather wallet would be too fancy with its buttoning fastener, but it\u2019s been the right amount of class and function.<\/p>\n

The Chipolo Card is functional and feature-rich<\/p>\n

The other half of this collaboration is the addition of the Chipolo Card. You can set it up and use either Apple\u2019s Find My network or Google\u2019s Find Hub\u2014just not both at the same time. If you want to switch tracking networks, you\u2019ll need to reset the card and set it up again.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve recently tried the Nomad Tracking Card Pr<\/a>o and the new Key Smart SmartCard<\/a>. These are both great and use Apple\u2019s Find My network to find lost items seamlessly. But the Chipolo Card has some extra neat features if you use its app.<\/p>\n

For example, you can change the tone that the card plays. There are about a dozen lo-fi melodies that can play when you ping it. The coolest feature is that you can double-click the button on the Chipolo Card to make your phone ring. This reverse-finding option worked much faster than I was expecting, within a few seconds of activating it.<\/p>\n

The tracking card has an estimated year of battery life. When it does need power, you set it on a Qi wireless charger to give it a boost.<\/p>\n

The card can reach a volume of 110 decibels\u2014partly thanks to how the card fits in the Miniwallet slot. It has a peak Bluetooth range of about 400 feet. It\u2019s also IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. All told, it\u2019s a good tracker for wallets or purses.<\/p>\n

The Chipolo x Secrid Trackable Miniwallet comes in either blue or black and retails for $140. That\u2019s about the same cost as buying a $99 Miniwallet and a $40 Chipolo Card and putting them together yourself.<\/p>\n

Besides the co-branding, this collaboration also brings a small indent to the back of the wallet so you can activate its button.
