First female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>DeVaux\u2019s big win \u2014 with Jose Ortiz aboard Golden Tempo \u2014 was the second female trainer to win a Triple Crown race, after Jena Antonucci won the 2023 Belmont Stakes with Arcangelo. DeVaux hails from Saratoga Springs, the Upstate New York town where the Belmont is being held for the third time this year while Belmont Park finishes up its renovations.
