Mark Hotel ahead of the Met Gala<\/p>\n<p>The humanoid figure surprised photographers and guests as it left The Mark Hotel<\/p>\n<p>The robot was seen rocking several poses ahead of fashion\u2019s biggest night.<\/p>\n<p>It appeared outside the celebrity-favorite hotel as stars prepared to head to the lavish event. <\/p>\n<p>The Mark Hotel is one of the key pre-gala spots where guests are photographed before the event as many get ready or stay inside the venue.<\/p>\n<p>While many fans assumed the robot would be making its way across the Upper East Side to walk the carpet at The stars like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/who\/beyonce\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Beyonce<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/who\/kylie-jenner\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kylie Jenner<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/who\/kim-kardashian\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kim Kardashian<\/a>, and more \u2013 though the robot was note amongst those posing for the cameras. <\/p>\n<p>The robot quickly became one of the strangest early moments of the night.<\/p>\n<p>The machine was identified as AGIBOT, a humanoid robot maker seen as a rival to Tesla\u2019s robotics ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>The surprise arrival added a high-tech twist to the usual parade of gowns, designers, and celebrity entourages.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMost read in Entertainment\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 Met Gala is centered on the theme \u201cCostume Art.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The dress code, \u201cFashion Is Art,\u201d reflects the theme\u2019s focus on the \u201ccentrality of the dressed body.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The theme explores depictions and interpretations of the human form through the Met\u2019s
