HOUSTON — Two adults and two children were found dead inside a Texas home on Monday, police said.<\/p>\n

The Houston Police Department said officers responded to a welfare check at around 5:26 p.m. local time in the 2100-block of Kingston Street in the River Oaks area.<\/p>\n

Police say that a babysitter alerted officers after having concerns that she hadn’t heard from the family. Upon arrival, HPD said officers first entered the home.<\/p>\n

According to HPD, police said that the two adults and the two children are all family members. Detectives believe that the incident is a murder-suicide, HPD said.<\/p>\n

At this time, it is unclear what the motive of the shooting.<\/p>\n
