Phil Foden is set to sign a new contract at Manchester City to keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2030 after coming to a provisional agreement with the Carabao Cup winners.<\/p>\n

The England international\u2019s current deal is set to expire next summer but he will commit to a four-year deal, with an option of a further year after that.<\/p>\n

Arsenal\u2019s hopes of winning a first Premier League title in 22 years is now in their hands after Manchester City dropped points in an extraordinary collapse at Everton on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Manchester City refused to accept defeat and yet, in the final reckoning, it may be the game that means they are beaten. It was the 97th minute when Jeremy Doku curled in his second spectacular goal of an extraordinary evening. City still have not lost in the Premier League since January, but it might have been the night the title slipped from their grasp.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was in our hands and now it is not,\u201d said Pep Guardiola. The winners were not Everton, though they were seconds away from their biggest scalp at Hill Dickinson, but an old Evertonian. If Mikel Arteta makes Arsenal champions, his debt to David Moyes and Everton will be still greater.
