Be sure to set your day and time of travel to see the most accurate travel options.<\/p>\n Return of the Fire<\/p>\n With the surging popularity of women\u2019s basketball and growing interest in bringing more major league sports to Oregon, Portland was selected in 2024 to host an expansion team: the Portland Fire, carrying on the legacy of a previous team that played in Portland for three seasons in the early 2000s.<\/p>\n Like the previous Fire, Portland\u2019s newest team will share its home arena with the Trail Blazers. Moda Center is located next to one of our region\u2019s busiest transit hubs, making it super-easy to get to and from games with TriMet.<\/p>\n Hop on board and get to know our new hometown hoops heroes!<\/p>\n Riding to Rose Quarter<\/p>\n TriMet is the most convenient and affordable way to get to and from games and other events in the Rose Quarter \u2014 including Portland Fire home games!<\/p>\n You can ride any MAX line to the Rose Quarter Transit Center. The MAX Blue, Green and Red lines serve the transit center directly, while the MAX Yellow\/Orange Line serves the nearby Interstate\/Rose Quarter MAX Station, right in front of Moda Center.<\/p>\n Many bus lines also serve the Rose Quarter, including:<\/p>\n TriMet public safety personnel are on hand, helping to direct riders safely to Moda Center on game days. Green Hop readers are on every MAX platform, as well as on board buses and streetcars. You can instantly pay Adult fare<\/a>, simply by tapping your bank card or digital wallet. Children under age 7 ride free, while youths 7-17 can ride for half price with Hop Fastpass\u00ae. Adults age 65 and older, people with disabilities, and others who qualify can also save with Honored Citizen reduced fare<\/a>. If you need a Hop card, you can purchase one from the fare card machine at any MAX station or transit center, or at participating retailers and the TriMet Customer Support Center<\/a>. TriMet buses still accept cash, but change is not dispensed.<\/p>\n Look and listen for stop announcements. Every TriMet bus and MAX train have digital displays that show the next stop.
