The Wings were chosen as the most improved team and the most fun to watch.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas went 2-0 in the preseason and will open the 2026 regular season Saturday on the road against the Indiana Fever. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After finishing 10-34 last year, the Wings built around\u00a0Bueckers, who averaged 19.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists in her rookie season. In free agency, Dallas re-signed All-Star guard Arike Ogunbowale and picked up a pair of former Minnesota Lynx forwards: Jessica Shepard and reigning co-defensive player of the year Alanna Smith.
