WORCESTER, Mass. \u2014 Anthony Volpe started at shortstop for Triple-A Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Beyond that, Volpe doesn\u2019t have many answers after being optioned to the minors following his rehab stint as he returns from offseason surgery on his left shoulder.\u00a0<\/p>\n
While many were surprised the Yankees optioned the 25-year-old<\/a> in favor of keeping Jos\u00e9 Caballero at shortstop in The Bronx, Volpe said: \u201cI don\u2019t know. There are things I can control [and] things I can\u2019t.
