“Scottie’s commitment to the 3M Open is a milestone for this tournament and our partnership with the PGA Tour,” said Kady Stoll, vice president of partnerships at 3M.<\/p>\n
“His participation reflects the experience we want to deliver for fans, players and the communities we support.”<\/p>\n
Scheffler owns 20 PGA Tour titles, including four majors at the 2022 and 2024 Masters, as well as the 2025 PGA Championship and The Open.<\/p>\n
He will go in pursuit of joining the career grand slam club at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills from 18-21 June. The final round will perhaps rather fittingly fall on his 30th birthday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Scheffler has held the world number one position for 155 consecutive weeks, underlining his dominance at the top of the game.<\/p>\n
