\u201cSleepaway Camp\u201d star Jonathan Tiersten has died. He was 60.<\/p>\n
The actor passed away at his New Jersey home last week, his brother,\u00a0William Tiersten, told TMZ<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n The cause of death is under investigation.<\/p>\n \u201cSleepaway Camp\u201d star Jonathan Tiersten (seen here) has died. Instagram\/jonathantiersten<\/p>\n The actor \u2014 who portrayed Ricky Thomas (seen here) \u2014 was 60. American Eagle Films<\/p>\n Jonathan got his start in the entertainment industry in 1981 when he appeared in an episode of the TV drama \u201cAnother World.\u201d<\/p>\n His breakout role was as Ricky Thomas in the 1983 Robert Hiltzik-directed horror film, \u201cSleepaway Camp.\u201d <\/p>\n The horror film follows a series of murders that occur at a teenage summer camp.<\/p>\n His brother, William, told TMZ that he was found dead in his New Jersey home.
