The event aims to normalize conversations about mental health and introduce a variety of wellness activities.<\/p>\n<p>According to Cory Welke, a member of JONAH&#8217;s Mental Health Task Force, attendees can participate in yoga, dancing and hear from speakers on a variety of different topics. A food truck will also be on-site.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The importance of events like this is community and allowing people to not feel alone but coming together in a place where your story can be heard, you can hear other people&#8217;s stories and you can interact with each other to understand that we are community,&#8221; Welke said.<\/p>\n<p>Advocacy will also be a focus. Green bandanas will be distributed as part of the Green Bandana Project, which promotes awareness and allyship with those struggling with mental health.<\/p>\n<p>The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Owen Park this Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Have a story idea?
